Lange RX 90 Ski Boot - Women's

Lange boots are bred from serious racing stock, but like that greyhound that your sister adopted, they can be sweet, loving, and friendly if you give 'em a chance. The RX 90 Women's Ski Boot, for example, is based on a classic Lange but has been significantly chilled out, with a very manageable 90 flex rating that you can push all over the mountain with confidence and a 100mm last that's slightly wider than the most aggressive Langes but narrow enough to hug your foot and eliminate that dreaded sloppy and imprecise feeling. While the RX 90 is a little more relaxed than race-ready boots, it has a lot in common with them, starting with the mono-injected shell. All Lange's boots use this construction for its smooth-flexing and consistent feel, and they also lock down with a classic four-buckle design (the Ergo Race buckles are made of durable aluminum and designed to be easy to manipulate with gloves on) that provides the most secure fit and strong, reliable feel. The cuff is also cut shorter to better fit female calves, and it's finished with a one-piece collar for a smooth fit that helps to eliminate shin bang and leg pain. Inside the RX 90 you'll find a Thermofit RL2 heat-moldable liner. Cushier than the RL1 but more aggressive than the RL3, it's the perfect choice choice for intermediate and lightweight experts, and Lange's even filled it up with Thinsulate insulation in key spots to keep your toes warmer so you can ski longer without stopping. The Power Wrap Tongue+ provides a firm and precise, but comfortable, feel in the front of the boot to increase control and help save your shins, and the Ultra Grip soles take the terror out of walking over exposed rocks and down icy base-lodge stairs.
